Air Pressure = Weight
Your truck's air suspension already knows how much weight is on each axle. The air bags inflate to a pressure that directly correlates with the load above them. If your truck or trailer rides on air suspension, it already has everything AirBagWeight needs.
AirBagWeight reads this pressure via a Bluetooth sensor. You install a DOT Tee-fitting with a Schrader valve on each leveling valve's air hose, then screw the sensor onto the Schrader valve. The app converts PSI readings to pounds using your calibration profile. No sensor is needed on the steer axle — most steer axles ride on springs, so the app calculates steer weight automatically from your drive axle reading.
Calibrate with two quick reference weighs — empty and loaded — at a certified scale. The app learns the exact relationship between pressure and load for your specific setup. From then on, readings typically land within 1–2% of a certified scale — check your weight from the driver's seat before you leave the dock.

First Weigh
Get Your Sensor Kit
One sensor per leveling valve. Most tractor-trailers need just 2. Pick your hose size (1/4" or 3/8") and order from our store.
Install the DOT Tee-Fitting
Cut the air hose with a tube cutter, push both ends into the DOT Tee-fitting. Simple DIY — 15 minutes per axle.
Mount the Sensor
Screw the sensor onto the Tee-fitting's Schrader valve. Hand-tight, no tools. Check for leaks with soapy water.
Download & Connect
Get the app, turn on Bluetooth, and tap Add Sensor. Select each sensor as it appears and assign it to its axle.
Calibrate & Weigh
Weigh empty and loaded on a certified scale. Enter the readings — done. Now you can weigh anytime, anywhere.
