Bluetooth range drops with distance and obstacles. A sensor mounted at the rear of the trailer may not reach your phone in the cab. Before installing, mount the sensor near the front of the trailer by extending the air line with a standard 1/4-inch air hose run along the trailer frame — a one-time step for a reliable signal from the driver's seat.
